fishing....the "cool" way

Not much has been going on here besides the fact that Jaden started preschool (at Jason's high school), Jordan had achievement testing at Ridgewood (which he LOVED being with many of his old friends from K-5) and Jared was at his school every day til 11:30am for Kindergarten. Did I mention all of these were in different cities!!! LOL I was so thankful for many friends who helped me out during last week!!!

So....... when Saturday came it was a pure LAZY day!!!! Jordan wanted to go fishing and wanted to just go with his "friend" Callie :-) So, being the sweet mother that I am, I told them I would take them but would NOT touch anything and stay in the car while they (two -almost--8 year olds) took care of everything b/c they reinforced they could do "it all" by themselves!!!

Needless to say they did great the first 35 minutes....then I had to take over and help with some "un-stringing"......fishing is SOOOOO not my thing~~~ unless I'm out in a boat soaking up some sun while holding the pole!!!! LOL

Let the Little Children Come

I had to add this video to remind me of the grace God has given me through the music and song of my boys. Scripture reminds us to let the little children come for of such is the kingdom of heaven. My God have His blessings on my children and their children.

My First Blog

Hello All,
Just to introduce myself, I am Jason Boe...you'll see in my profile... and I am seeking to have a place where I can journal my thoughts. I am mainly doing this for myself, not to be selfish, but wanted a place where I can re-read what God has revealed to me in my personal studies. Some of this may be doctrinally incorrect, and for that I ask your forgiveness. In writing these journals, you'll read some of my thoughts, as I will, and my hope is that I will see my doctrine and theology grow to become more like Christ.

I am seeking to grow in grace, and hope you will pray for my progressive sanctification. The discipline of journalling has been encouraged quite regularly at my church and in my readings, and I am convinced that it will aid in my sanctification. (More of the reason to come.)

My focus in these journals is to see how Christ is in view in my readings of scripture and how the cross is in view as well. Thus the title, Gospel Centered Journals. May God have His blessings on my life through this.
